Meta Business Manager and ad account recovery

I work through blocks on Business Manager, ad accounts and Pages on Facebook and Instagram: I find the real cause, prepare one properly framed submission, and put the structure in order once access is back. Official Meta channels only, under contract, in English, Bulgarian and Russian.

What is actually happening

A disabled ad account or a restricted Business Manager is rarely a random event and almost never an isolated one. In the overwhelming majority of the cases I see, the block is the last step in a long chain: before it there was already a rejected ad, a login from a new region, a change of payment method, an administrator added from a personal profile without two-factor authentication, or ads for a domain with no connection to the legal entity on the account.

Meta does not explain the cause in any detail. You see a short notification, and that is where the information ends. What follows is the dangerous part: the business owner tries to guess the cause and acts on that guess. It is the guessing, rather than the block itself, that most often closes the door for good.

Technically Meta has several different types of restriction, and they are resolved differently. A restriction on a specific ad account, a restriction on the whole business portfolio, a restriction on the personal profile that access depends on, a Page block and a domain restriction are five different situations with five different submission forms. The same appeal sent to the wrong section reads to the system as irrelevant and reduces the chance of a review.

Why doing it yourself often makes things worse

  • Several appeals in a row. In a panic people send five submissions in one evening: through the form, through support chat, from another profile, through an agency. The system sees a stream of contradictory submissions and closes them as a batch. The real review attempt is usually a single one, and it has already been spent.
  • Appealing without understanding the cause. If the account was compromised first and the block followed from the attacker's actions, appealing before regaining control is close to pointless: you are asking for the reinstatement of something you do not control.
  • Creating duplicates. A new Business Manager, a new ad account or a new profile “just to keep working” is the typical reaction. To Meta this looks like an attempt to circumvent the restriction, and it is a separate, heavier violation that carries over to connected assets.
  • Handing a password to an intermediary. Legitimate recovery goes through official identity and company verification, not through sharing credentials. Anyone who asks for your password is working against you.

I do not promise guaranteed reinstatement and I do not take on cases where the violation was deliberate. That is not cautious phrasing but a condition for an honest conversation: Meta makes the decision, not the contractor.

How I work

  1. 1Enquiry and initial data. You describe what exactly is blocked, when, what the notification says word for word, what you have already tried, and whether you still have access to the email address and phone number attached to the account.
  2. 2Initial assessment. Free, within three hours. I tell you whether there is anything to work with and what the next step is. If there is no chance, I say so here, before money enters the conversation.
  3. 3Diagnosis. I go through the type of restriction, the sequence of events and the connected assets: profile, portfolio, Pages, domains, payment methods, administrator list. You get a written verdict: what exactly happened, which submission route is correct, what documents will be needed and what the realistic chances are. €120, credited towards the success fee if we proceed.
  4. 4Preparing the submission. I assemble the package: company documents, evidence linking the domain to the business, a timeline of events. I file one submission through the correct route rather than five through different channels.
  5. 5Follow-through and prevention. I handle the correspondence and any additional verification requests and keep track of deadlines. Once access is back, I separate personal and business assets, enable two-factor authentication, tidy up the administrator list, remove stray payment methods and check the domain and Pages.

When I take a case and when I do not

  • I take it on. There is a company or registered activity, access to at least the account's email or phone, and a willingness to provide documents for verification.
  • I take it on. The block followed a compromise, a change of login country, a disputed ad or a payment problem, meaning there are facts that can be presented.
  • I do not. Deliberate violation of the advertising policies: grey verticals, circumventing moderation, accounts bought or rented from third parties.
  • I do not. No access to the email, the phone or the company documents, and nothing to prove ownership of the account with.
  • I do not. A request to “unblock it within the hour” without looking at the cause. That service does not exist; only people selling it do.

What you keep besides the access itself

Even when a particular ad account cannot be recovered, you are left with an understanding of the structure: what was connected to what, where the point of failure was, and what needs rebuilding so that the next block does not stop sales. In several cases that turned out to matter more than the recovery itself: the business restarted advertising on a clean structure and stopped depending on a single fragile node.

The outcome is documented too: you get a description of your Meta business structure, a list of responsible people and a procedure for restoring access.

Real case

Aterga Art, Bulgaria: access restored and the structure rebuilt

The decisive factor here was not any “unblocking magic” but the order of actions: control of the account first, submission only after that. Once access was back, personal and working assets were separated so that a block on one element would no longer stop the whole business.

FAQ

How long does Business Manager recovery take?

From a few days to a few weeks. The speed depends on the type of restriction and on how quickly document verification goes through. Anyone naming an exact timeline before the diagnosis is guessing.

My appeal was already rejected. Is there any point in getting in touch?

Sometimes there is. A further review is possible if new facts appear: confirmation of the company, evidence of compromise, a corrected link between the domain and the business. If there are no new facts, the honest answer is that the chances are low, and I will say so at the initial assessment.

Do you need my password?

No. The work goes through official verification procedures and through standard Business Manager access roles that you revoke with one click. Passwords, SMS codes and access to your email are not needed and will never be requested.

Why is the diagnosis paid?

Because it is the actual work: going through the account history, identifying the type of restriction and choosing the correct submission route takes hours. If we proceed, the €120 is credited towards the success fee. The initial assessment of whether there is anything to work with at all is free. A free “full diagnosis” in practice means the contractor takes everyone on and looks at nothing.

Can I just create a new ad account?

Technically sometimes you can, but Meta often reads it as circumventing the restriction, and it carries the problem over to connected assets. Before creating anything new, you need to understand what exactly is restricted and why.

Do you only work with Bulgaria?

No. SolveOne EOOD is registered in Burgas but works with small businesses across the EU. Service in English, Bulgarian and Russian.
